[hm. there are good things and bad things about this place. while having no boys around kind of was depressing (for various reasons), she could still do what she normally did in that sense. Heh. No one was safe.

having a garden of women meant that there was no one judging you, no one saying you were weaker because you weren't a man. that was something Hungary liked. as much as she enjoyed her world, and knew that she was strong, it was still nice to be in a place where she didn't need to worry about people mocking her.

[oh! Hungary jumps with a start. just a little. she doesn't scare easily, but for someone to come up right behind her like that was unsettling! plus, this person gave off... a familiar vibe... hm]

[she smiles back, still feeling strange. does she know this woman? she couldn't possibly...] That's great. I'm always up for new adventures. I just hope my people will be safe while I'm gone.

[Austria had been out on a trip to the Orchard to pick some fresh fruit...and had unsurprisingly gotten lost. She found herself near the ruins, and laid eyes on the new arrival, who looked incredibly familiar.]

...Impossible.

[From behind she can't tell that she's faced with a woman, and from behind Hungary looks almost exactly like the Hungary she knows from home. Who shouldn't be here, being a man and all.]

[Hungary continues to explore the ruins, only pausing every now and then to look around and debate on which way to turn. after wandering for a little while, she comes across a curtain of vines and starts ripping away at them so she can see beyond the area she is in.

Unfortunately, one of the vines she grabs had thorns on it, and she winces when several pierce her skin. geez! she shouldn't have been so careless!]

[Austria notices that, and, even if she's mistaken as to who this person is, her urge to help kicks in, as does her curiousity.]

A-Ah, excuse me!

[her voice cuts off immediately after she sees who is behind her. the woman looks so familiar]

[Austria is dumbfounded now. Her jaw is hanging open and no rational thought can get her to regain composure. This woman is almost identical to her Hungary....except she is a woman. She can't find the words for this.]

[it seems as though her presence startled the other woman. Hungary hadn't meant to do that. still holding her hand, she turns around fully to face the lady who was following her. she considers taking a few steps closer but doesn't want to scare the other further]

Should I not be here? [Hungary puts a smile on her face in an effort to hide her nerves. she is still feeling weird about the other lady] I guess it'd serve me right, huh?

[Hungary knows Austria, knows him very well. and all she is thinking of when she sees this woman is Austria. but this couldn't be. sure, Austria wasn't the most rugged man she knew, not that Hungary minded that, but she certainly would know if Austria had breasts, or long flowing hair.

but the mole. and those glasses. and that dignified way of speaking...

no... it must be her imagination]

H-how strange. I was just going to say the same thing. [she brings her bloodied hand up to her lips, holding back a nervous chuckle]

[somehow, it didn't seem as strange now that they were past the awkward tension. Austria was Austria, no matter how he... or she... looked. after a moment, she sighs, giving Austria another nervous smile]
