_{[ For someone who thinks of men as nothing more than her underlings and wants girls to see her as more than the subject of envy, the Gardens are the perfect place for Sena.

She's sitting somewhere on the boardwalk, ...bored out of her mind after beating the high score in Sushi Cat. Outside world? What outside world... Just kidding. Social interaction is something she doesn't have a problem with, but since people don't often talk to her, she's not used to it. The Vine is something those cats mention a lot, though. Oh, but she's never used a cellphone before, or a webcam, or any of those things. This is making her a little nervous. It's not like she has friends to talk to... This place is different, though. She can start anew! ]}

_{[ Ouch! That was a little too loud... The Vine suddenly furls up on her. ]}

Hey, what gives!? Nnngh, stupid vine! I, Sena Kashiwazaki, command you to open your stupid megaphone and let everyone her my divine voice with your stupid magic! Stupid!

Mm, that's right... Maybe Suwako-sama will know what to do...

That won't be happening either.

She... definitely was angry. I thought it was just her trying to stay in character...

It's a place where fantasy is reality. Youkai, gods, all kinds of things exist there!

[Mitsuki winces at the voice, and then starts to giggle when the girl begins to yell at the Vine. That sort of thing is familiar to her, if far tamer than what she's used to.]

Ah...yes, hello. We can hear you loud and clear!

Mm... Well I'm sure we'll figure something out!

-Well if she's confident, surely she won't mind conversation, right?-

Hello there! Would you like to give alms to the Moriya Shrine?

-Right.-

O-ow... That voice of yours is really powerful, Kashiwazaki-san...

Just like that she's said her amount. It's not much, and it's not clear if she believes Sanae but... hey]

O-oh, _{it got through. [ Sena clears her throat, a little embarrassed and disoriented by the reply. ]} That's good! That was just a test earlier, so ignore it. Um, so, yeah.

_{[Oh, this is an interesting place. Saki's still not sure how she got here, or where Aoto and Finnel are, but the gardens look really pretty! And Saki is all for pretty and cute and girly things!

So where did that cat go off to again.]}

Hm... I think Saki is lost...

[She's not an outgoing woman, to say the least, so she retreats into the shelter of the trees. Back home, she spends days on end in the woods, living on her own. This isn't so different, except that Reian isn't here. She doesn't know what to do without him. He speaks to others for her. Most people don't speak the languages she knows.

So she sends out her shades to look for Reian. Strange, shifting entities, they look like little ghosts. They seem to be made of smoke and shadow. Within an actual shadow, one might not even see them at all. They fly through the Gardens, serving as Nelius' eyes, though they have no true eyes of their own. They float for a while, moving here and there, observing everything. They do not find what they seek, so they return to her, and one might follow them back to where she is.

Among the trees, Nelius waits. She moves her hands, and as she does so, the wind sweeps through the trees at her command, forming countless changing shapes among the leaves.]

Hah! That's nothing compared to what I usually do. _{[ That wasn't a compliment, Sena... ]}

It's a truly amazing place... I wish I could show it to you.

I'm almost afraid...

A-anyways, how rude of me! My name is Sanae Kochiya.

-S-so... moe...-

Oh wow... That kind of stuff really makes my mouth water!

-Guess who has two thumbs and is suddenly standing right next to her?-

[She nods at this. That does sound familiar.] I've read that people used to worship spirits. [She realizes this might sound a little rude if this woman still does, so her smile grows slightly apologetic.] They no longer do, where I'm from. She's actually a physical being, and you can speak to her? [This idea excites the young scholar's curiosity.] I'd like to meet her sometime, if I may.

-Nelius may have a bit of a problem, sadly... A problem of a certain shrine maiden trying to exorcise her shades, because she thinks they're yuurei. Leaping before thinking is something of a problem of hers.-

Get back here, you! I can't allow you to do as you wish with the people here!

I look forward to destroying this shrine soon.

[Said from a few feet above and behind Sanae, Tenshi was lying on her stomach on...a floating rock, watching the shrine.]
