[Mitsuki is used to instability. She has dealt with it for quite a long while, and so she has had to learn how to adjust, to adapt. So when she awakens in a strange place she has never been, she swallows the clawing, frozen panic down and begins to organize her thoughts, to set priorities, to acquire the knowledge she needs.

Her clothing is found fairly quickly, and she is beyond relieved to find her key still around her neck. It is hours and hours after she has figured out the Vine, the setting, and the people here before she actually introduces herself.

Her voice is soft, and very calm, and while she smiles politely, it is a curiously blank expression. Her hands rest neatly in her lap.]

Good day. Um...[A pause, and she quickly tucks a lock of silvery-blue hair behind her ear.] I'm terribly sorry if I'm bothering anyone, but I've just arrived, and I'm...a little lost. Ah, if anyone would be willing to assist me, I'd be very grateful! [a quick, polite bow, and then another thought occurs to her:]

Mm...I have a question as well. Is there a girl with long, red hair here, by any chance? She may have been a little upset when she arrived. [a beat, and a slightly strained smile.] If I am allowed to use an understatement.

Cosplayer...? [A pause, as she thinks about this, and suddenly understands.] --Ah, no. It wasn't a wig.

It's nice to meet you as well, Kochiya-san. No, it's a little more complicated than that. [She laughs, but a thought occurs to her, and her expression grows concerned.] I hope she didn't frighten you.

I'm very sorry if she caused you any trouble. [She wants to say that Kotone is usually not so temperamental, but Mitsuki would rather not give anyone the wrong idea.]

[the woman's hand emerges from her wide sleeve and flaps a bit.]

[She blushes, and shakes her head.] Oh, I'm sorry. I...is there another form of address you'd prefer?

[The question makes her pause for just a moment before Mami dismisses the admittedly silly thought it had drummed up; from what she now knows of Kyouko, it's unlikely that the other Puella Magi is the one that this girl is referring to.]

Welcome to the Gardens, miss. I can only speak for myself, but it wouldn't be a bother at all for me to lend what help I could. I've been here for quite some time, so....with any luck, I'll manage to be of some use. [A soft, polite smile, the coaxing in her voice very subtle. It's a tone that gently invites confidence, promises support. She knows what it's like to feel lost.

A pause as her mind returns to Mitsuki's question.]

As for this girl...could you possibly supply me with a name? There's more than one person here that would fit that description, you see.

[Mitsuki returns the smile, but she appears somewhat hesitant, to give Kotone's name, to reveal any important information. A pause, she tilts her head.]

I doubt she's given her name to anyone. [That is easy enough to say, likely not a lie.] She may have been wearing a...a very elaborate outfit. [Mitsuki stands, straightens up in one single, graceful movement.] She'd be armed, as well.
