She chews one, looking happy, then starts to look down at her feet, feeling...strangely bashful. "Um, how's yours?"

Oddly enough, so was she. It was definitely an odd feeling... "It's pretty good, I guess..."

Fionna nodded, then found herself walking over and putting her hand through Sanae's hair very gently, blushing.

"M-me too."

Sanae couldn't help her own blush, heart fluttering at even that slight touch. "I never noticed before... but you have really pretty eyes..."

"I do?" That was a new one: in fact, she was pretty sure that no one noticed her eyes before. "Thanks. You have really beautiful hair too, and really nice dresses."

You'll have to forgive Fionna: while she has the blushing thing down, the romance part is pretty sketchy for her.

Sanae giggles, the awkwardness obviously forgiven. "If... you wanted to I could make you something... to wear, you know? I think I finally got the sewing machine working..."

"Oh, really Sanae?" Fionna looked excited. She hadn't worn a dress since that masked ball, and even then it had been a pretty confusing scenen since no one knew who the other person was.

"That'd be wonderful, thanks!" Fionna said, picking up Sanae and giving her a hug, then lowering her down until their faces were inches apart...

Which made Sanae's breath hitch. Her cheeks felt hot. Her heart was speeding like a train...

"You deserve it... Because when I needed a friend, you were there for me."

Fionna had no idea quite what she was doing, but suddenly she felt strangely protective when it came to Sanae: she was strong but vulnerable, sweet and focused at the same time. Again, one of those things about her friends she really admire.

With that thought her lips slowly met Sanae's, her eyes closing, hands clasping the other girls'.

The kiss felt... wonderful. Her heart raced, her face felt so hot, but... gosh it just felt so good. Like everything in that moment with her and Fionna was just perfect. Absolutely perfect.

Likewise, Fionna couldn't have asked for a better kiss, and Sanae was just so soft and pretty to behold. This was a pretty blissful moment for the teen, considering the last few weeks.

"That was...nice," Fionna said, smiling.

"Yeah... it really was," Sanae was still blushing, almost in disbelief at what had just taken place.

Fionna smiles sheepishly. "That was kinda my first kiss, actually."

She still looks a bit flustered, but happy.

"In that case... I'm honored you'd trust me with it, Fionna." She wished she could say the same, but eh... That was then.

So this was what it was like kissing a girl. It was...really comforting, at least with Sanae. She had always thought pretty well of her, so she was glad it was her anyway.

"Want to hang out later?"
