Oh... oh dear...

[ All she'd wanted was some of that dirt. Make a few small things (like a weapon), avoid any trouble - instead of wandering too far in the wrong direction, and realizing it far too late, and ending up changed. She knew the consequences were possible but this?

The white, perked up ears on her head could, possibly, be hidden, but the long hairs flowing out of the top of her skirt were trouble enough, and the wings? Total overkill.

All of this is why she's sticking to trees, avoiding who she can, even if she knows that she's incredibly easy to spot. ]

Because Lyn is already laughing at Florina's misfortune.]

[ Florina pouts, shuffling out from her wildly inadequate cover. ]

Don't laugh at it, it's really weird.

It's cute in its own way. But that all looks pretty familiar.

They're... just like a pegasus, and they don't belong on me. I'm too scared to even try the wings.

That is what it reminded me of.

But why are you scared? You ride high up in the air all the time.

A pegasus flies all the time, and they're built for it... I'll probably be just like a little foal...

You just try to stay a few feet off the ground and I'll catch you if you fall.

E-even so... I really don't have any reason to learn, right? I heard these things go away pretty quickly...

[ Her ears lower against her head. ]

What reason do you need other than 'it will be fun'?

Oh, um... hm. That... well it might be, but falling is never fun...

As long as you don't get hurt, it'll just be cute.

It'll look cute to you, but it won't feel cute.

I promise I'll catch you. Really.

Well... mmm.

[ She sighs, fluttering her wings slightly. ]

Alright.

Let's see if you can get off the ground, first.

[shy_flier]

[ She just nods, flexing her wings a bit more. ]

Should I jump?

[hectorcantgofast]

[Lyn nods in return.]

I'm no expert but that'll probably be a good start.

[shy_flier]

Okay. Right.

[ Florina takes a breath, and readies herself, wings fluttering a bit. A little jump feels inadequate, but she hops up, wings flailing more than anything.

She ascends for a moment, before losing her momentum and tumbling back. ]

Aaaah!

[As promised, Lyn is there to grab her so she doesn't fall over.]

See, you're already making progress.

[ Eyes shut for a moment, she leans against Lyn. ]

[Lyn takes a moment to pet her head.]

Um... just give me a moment to think about how I did it wrong.

[She can have a moment right here in Lyn's arms.]

[ It just makes her want to lean against Lyn instead of trying to fly, though wings make it a bit awkward. ]
