test drive meme iv.

Let's see if this is a better time for it!

test drive meme!

Here's how it works!

wanna play a character but don't have the time? or maybe you just want to test them out?
well go for it! post them here like they're already in the game (text, voice, video or action), and have them talk to characters already in the big gay Garden! Be sure to put their name and fandom in the subject line, for those of us who don't know it.
then app them because you know you want to. 8|

Please spread the word about this meme, and happy Tuesday!

[Austria had been out on a trip to the Orchard to pick some fresh fruit...and had unsurprisingly gotten lost. She found herself near the ruins, and laid eyes on the new arrival, who looked incredibly familiar.]

...Impossible.

[From behind she can't tell that she's faced with a woman, and from behind Hungary looks almost exactly like the Hungary she knows from home. Who shouldn't be here, being a man and all.]

[identity profile] aseparateworld.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 03:57 pm (UTC)(link)
[She stands motionless by the lake, her arms at her sides, watching the woman--she thinks it's a woman and not something else--curious. She's never seen or heard anything like her before.]

[identity profile] crossedstrength.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 04:25 pm (UTC)(link)
[Butterfree? She nods.] It's smaller, though. Some are as tiny as the smallest coins.

They really should...it's all a metaphor, but why can't they stay friends? They can learn about each other-the man will learn what flying is, the butterfly what it is to be grounded.

[She tilts her head slightly in curiosity.] What's your name?

[identity profile] crossedstrength.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 04:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh... [She feels a little guilty, if the other had been in some sort of accident...then it seemed she had gotten advanced prostheses for them to work so flawlessly...] I wouldn't have known if you hadn't told me. They move so fluidly.

[identity profile] aseparateworld.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 04:35 pm (UTC)(link)
That is amazing. People who can do magic...? I'd love to see that. What an astounding world this seems to be. The Pokémon are so happy and free, and we can meet different kinds of people and make new friends.

[She nods.] The same thing happened to me. I'd just started traveling to see the world and learn more about it, more about everything, but I never knew I'd go so far. I hope your sister will come here, too, so you don't have to be apart. I don't have any brothers or sisters. It must be nice, to be so close to another person.

[identity profile] aseparateworld.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 04:51 pm (UTC)(link)
So small. They must be very delicate and beautiful. Are there any of them here? I haven't been here long.

Yes, I don't see why they have to be separated, simply because they're different. Learning and accepting new truths and ideals and ways of being, that's important.

[She answers readily, unselfconscious.] My name is N. What's yours?

A dream....?

[she stops, staring up at the creature. It's huge, the size of a large Heartless, but if this woman says they're friends...]

Um--h...hello.

[identity profile] ixmarksthe.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 06:23 pm (UTC)(link)
[she turns a little too quickly, staring at the mirror. A communication system, or a talking mirror? Either way, someone must have tampered with her coding, again. Her lip curls as she tries to push her fury back, her expression turning icy.]

Exquisite? It's disgusting.

[identity profile] aseparateworld.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 06:25 pm (UTC)(link)
I had a dream once, that I wanted to come true, but it never did. Now I realize it might not have been the right dream to have, so I'm looking for a new one. When I find it, I'm going to try to make it come true instead.

[N smiles, and the dragon bows its head.] Reshiram says it's a pleasure to meet you.

I am so sorry

[identity profile] onitsune.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 06:28 pm (UTC)(link)
No, no, that's not the right word. You're thinking of delicious.

[The horned woman licked her lips demonstratively, then looked back into the mirror.]

So many cute maidens all in one place. Why, you yourself look rather pretty, if I may say so.

[identity profile] aureation.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 06:37 pm (UTC)(link)
The Queen seems more than just a bit obsessed with sapphic art? [Her lips play a smile, a gentle laugh escaping from them.] I honestly couldn't tell you, you would probably have to ask her yourself. That is, if she feels like answering you.

[identity profile] machinacion.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 06:40 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Helen stares at this woman. It interferes with her plans; if anyone else knew what she was really doing it could out her completely. For now, she will try to figure a way of discovery on her own―no intentions telling this woman her real thoughts. ]

Alright. [ She begins to walk the path again. ] I'm looking for... uncharted places. This path is only but a path, but the path that you want sometimes is overgrown with ferns. That is the path I am looking for to properly map the Gardens. Things that may have been undiscovered and used for proper means.

no worries XD

[identity profile] ixmarksthe.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 06:41 pm (UTC)(link)
[her expression becomes even more disdainful, if possible.]

So he has those kinds of fantasies, does he? Why am I not surprised.

[identity profile] sufferrogate.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 06:41 pm (UTC)(link)
This whole circumstance strikes me as quite the elaborate and honestly ridiculous scheme to sate such an oddly specific preference.

Phew xD;

[identity profile] onitsune.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 06:44 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm very sorry, but I must correct you, although it pains me to go against the word of a tasty maiden such as you: It's a she, not a he. She seems to lack a particular fondness for men.

[identity profile] sufferrogate.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 06:44 pm (UTC)(link)
'Sapphic'?

[ The word is totally foreign to her. The fact Gabrielle laughed at the comment makes her wonder what is funny, but it is a better response than being met with indignation or offense. ]

I am sorry to say that this is another word utterly absent from my current vocabulary. Would this happen to be another word unique to human language?

[identity profile] onitsune.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 06:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, I've seen much worse shemes. Like the one where a silly prince tried to forge a godly treasure to impress his sweetheart, using a fortune that could buy a country, just to be denied and spotted a liar.

This one seems to work, for one, as people are coupling up! And what interesting kinds of women it has brought!

Might I be so rude to inquire about your kind?

[identity profile] branded-twin.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 06:48 pm (UTC)(link)
It's not like you knew what it was going to be about...otherwise you wouldn't have any reason to ask to begin with, right? Like I said, you deserve to know why you're here, so...

[identity profile] branded-twin.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 06:48 pm (UTC)(link)
--Eh? I...Is that so...?

[identity profile] sufferrogate.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 06:52 pm (UTC)(link)
I am not surprised that individuals are pairing together, although the fact it all appears to be specifically flushed romance, which strikes me as arbitrary a preference as requiring only women.

But I seem to digress. I can only assume when you state 'your kind' you are referring to my species. Is this correct? I would rather not answer on an assumption alone.

[identity profile] onitsune.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 06:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course. You seem like a particularly fitting flower for this garden.

[She smiled, showing actual fangs.]

Might I inquire the name of the beauty I'm conversing with?

[identity profile] onitsune.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 06:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Flushed it may be, but that is also charming, is it not?

As for the second, that is correct. I spotted that you aren't human, not that this tarnishes your beauty in any way, so I was wondering.

[identity profile] branded-twin.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 06:58 pm (UTC)(link)
...Eh? Er, this old man's name's Mion. Sonozaki Mion.

[identity profile] sufferrogate.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 07:00 pm (UTC)(link)
You are correct in your observation--in regards to my not being human, I should specify, as while I will thankfully accept your compliment, I am not so arrogant as to consider it an observable fact.

I am from a species known as Trolls from the planet Alternia.

[identity profile] aureation.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 07:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Sapphic art usually depicts women women in love―sometimes erotic, sometimes not―it's a term that's not as used as openly as lesbian is. It usually describes works of art, more than women in a relationship themselves.

[The way she speaks has an air of confidence, there is nothing awkward or shy about it. Gabrielle idly wonders what their equivalent of sapphic would be. She's just as interested in learning about them as much as they are interested in learning about humankind.]

That's why I suggested that the Queen may have found herself a little too into something like that, hence why there's only females here.
