test drive meme v.
Time for another one of these, right in time for ATP this Saturday (FINALLY I TIMED THIS RIGHT)!
test drive meme!
Here's how it works!
➊ wanna play a character but don't have the time? or maybe you just want to test them out?
➋ well go for it! post them here like they're already in the game (text, voice, video or action), and have them talk to characters already in the big gay Garden! Be sure to put their name and fandom in the subject line, for those of us who don't know it.
➌ then app them because you know you want to. 8|
Please spread the word about this meme, and happy Wednesday!

Fiorel | OC
It'd almost be tolerable here if I had my people with me. Least what the Queen's doing with me's better than what the royalty I know'd do. [She gives a short laugh.]
But at home, I've got my overgrown chicken and my useless mouse who can't cook, and I've got my woman. Think I miss them. Didn't know I would-- miss the other two, I mean, not my woman. 'Course I want her.
[She nods toward the mirror, addressing her audience. She tends to view the other inhabitants of the Gardens as a sometimes-amusing rabble.] What about you lot? Who've you got back home?

[She nods, with a brief noise of assent. She understands what the girl means.] So what're your people like? Tell me a story.

Or tell me about the place you were at, if you want.

I've got somebody kinda like that. Don't serve her, but she could eat me alive if she wanted. [She smiles, as she's not expecting Anika will eat her anytime soon.]

Reminds me of my somebody. She took me in when I was a kid.

Since you got one of your goddesses here, guess you don't mind it as much? I'd rather be home, but-- [She shrugs.] Not a thing I can do about that.

[The girl on the other end of the vine draws her stockinged knees up to her chest, the odd wings (http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a164/Cheyanime/Cheyanime%202/NueProfile.png) sprouting from her back drooping slightly as she does so.]
Mamizou... Anesan and Murasa and—and everyone at the temple, too.
[That's not something she ever thought she'd be saying, but...well. Here she is.]
no subject
So you live at the temple? [Fiorel has no idea what that is, but she doesn't admit it.] What's that like? [Maybe somebody'll have a story to entertain her with. Not that she usually needs much entertaining, but there's not much to do here.]
no subject
[When she's asked what it's like to live there, she lets out a thoughtful-sounding hum, resting her chin on the tops of her knees.] It's not very exciting most of the time, but it's nice. Anesan and everyone took me in, even though—even though I probably would have deserved it if they turned me away. [Pause.] But recently there have been some people that look like they're might cause trouble for us. That's why I invited Mamizou to come live with us.
no subject
[Fiorel listens to all this, nodding, though it doesn't make complete sense to her, since temples don't exist where she's from. She is interested by what the girl says about being turned away.] Why'd you deserve a thing like that?
[Trouble, too, is relevant to her interests.] What if they do cause you trouble? Think you can handle it?
no subject
[She sounds genuinely remorseful about this, but puffs up a little when she's asked the other question.] Of course we can handle it! Anesan is really strong, and I'm no slouch when it comes to danmaku myself. And even if we're not strong enough on our own, I brought in our trump card—Mamizou!
no subject
What are you, anyway? [She asks this curiously, without hostility. She doesn't have a problem with non-humans. She was more or less raised by one.] They don't make em like you where I'm from.
no subject
Huh? I'm a youkai, of course. [She doesn't specify what type for a lot of reason—but mostly because her claim to fame as a nue is being a mysterious monster with a strange, unknown appearance. Admitting that's what she is... Well, that would be sabotaging her own ability to be frightening, wouldn't it?]
no subject
Youkai, huh? Got no idea what that is.

Re: Fiorel | OC
My cat, actually.
You have a mouse that can cook? Or was that poetic license?
no subject
How about your cat. That poetic license?
no subject
My cat? No poetic license involved, just lots of parts! I thought I'd build an animal companion.
He can't cook either, but then I couldn't have taught him to-- I can't, myself.
City-dweller that I am, I'm more used to buying my food-- most of the food available here still needs cooking. Will you be able to manage without your "mouse's" efforts?
[This is said winkingly-- it looks to Reeve as if Fiorel could handle pretty much anything just fine.]
no subject
It's possible that she might arrive here one day, you know.

I've got... well I left them alone for five seconds, so they probably all went and fell off a cliff. Twice. Sometimes I feel less like their friend and more like their mom, seriously.
