How many rocks do you see that are heart shaped and chalky? Just eat it, okay? Trust me.

[She squints at the candy for a moment, examining it, before popping it in her mouth.]

Well? How is it? -Someone's excited.-

It's...all right? [crunch crunch] ...Not as good as the chocolate you made me, though.

[She swallows, suddenly finding herself feeling peculiar. Maybe she's just getting into the romantic holiday spirit. She flashes Sanae a coy smile when she speaks again.]

I bet kissing you would be better than both, though.

[Aww yeah. Smooth.]

E-eh? Right here? But there are so many people around...

[Sanae may as well have not said anything at all. Nue is certainly acting like she hasn't, at any rate, what with the way she's leaning in to steal a kiss.]

-O-oh, well, Nue certainly wouldn't hear any argument from Sanae. After a moment, she returned the kiss, her arms moving to wrap about Nue and draw her in close. So spontaneous... Her heart was fluttering.-

[And Nue's arms wrapped around her in turn, pulling Sanae to her as much as she allowed herself to be pulled. She let the kiss linger for a good long while, leaning her forehead against Sanae's when she finally broke it.]

Mm... looks like I was right!

[She's grinning, but her cheeks are a little pink too.]

Eh... wha? -Momentarily stupified.-

Oh, there was Sanae, the girl from before!

"Hey dude, what's up?"

"Hey! Do you want some of these left over candy hearts? There's no way I can eat them all!" Sanae waved her over.

"Sure!" Fionna said, smiling, and took one of the pink ones enthusiastically. "Whoa. These taste like chalk and junk!"

[hihou]

"They're kind of an acquired taste, but they're good once you get used to it!" Sanae popped in a pink one, herself.

[fionna_time]

She chews one, looking happy, then starts to look down at her feet, feeling...strangely bashful. "Um, how's yours?"

[hihou]

Oddly enough, so was she. It was definitely an odd feeling... "It's pretty good, I guess..."

[fionna_time]

Fionna nodded, then found herself walking over and putting her hand through Sanae's hair very gently, blushing.

"M-me too."

[hihou]

Sanae couldn't help her own blush, heart fluttering at even that slight touch. "I never noticed before... but you have really pretty eyes..."

[fionna_time]

"I do?" That was a new one: in fact, she was pretty sure that no one noticed her eyes before. "Thanks. You have really beautiful hair too, and really nice dresses."

You'll have to forgive Fionna: while she has the blushing thing down, the romance part is pretty sketchy for her.

Sanae giggles, the awkwardness obviously forgiven. "If... you wanted to I could make you something... to wear, you know? I think I finally got the sewing machine working..."

[fionna_time]

"Oh, really Sanae?" Fionna looked excited. She hadn't worn a dress since that masked ball, and even then it had been a pretty confusing scenen since no one knew who the other person was.

"That'd be wonderful, thanks!" Fionna said, picking up Sanae and giving her a hug, then lowering her down until their faces were inches apart...

Which made Sanae's breath hitch. Her cheeks felt hot. Her heart was speeding like a train...
