[ Although there are some ways, just a few, in which Japan is not entirely out of her element, she's still doing a very good job of looking totally lost. Curious, but lost. Everything's so lovely, but there's so much of it to see and really she's been here awhile and hasn't progressed through very much of it at all. In fact, here she is, just standing in a small clearing, staring up at the trees. ]

[madamne]

[For one moment, France was not there. It was a very sad time.

Now France is there with her arm around Japan's shoulders. There was very little transition between the two moments.]

Ah, isn't it beautiful, ma chère?

[fuzei]

[ Transition is very important! Without transition, things happen. Things like Japan squeaking in surprise and very nearly falling over on her butt. Thankfully, she is a lady of poise and dignity, so it's mostly just the yelp and then she's staring up at France, a bit wide-eyed.

Oh. ]

A-aa... France-san. [ As if this explains everything. ] Such a thing... it is as France-san says, quite beautiful.

[madamne]

Nature is so tranquil and lovely. [Thinking to herself that some crops would also work well here though no she is not a country bumpkin enough of that] At the very least, we have been graced with some very pleasant surroundings.

[ Taking this as a cue to look around again, Japan very slightly shifts her weight back and forth. ] It still seems an unusual place to arrive quite suddenly... does it not?

[madamne]

You're right, of course... A rather unique kidnapping indeed.

[fuzei]

[ At that, she balls her hands into fists, keeping them close together at her stomach. ] Kidnapping? Truly? [ There's a very slight note of either excitement or hysteria in her voice — like she hadn't considered this possibility. Or if she had, she was just waiting for someone else to say it aloud. ]
