Goodness gracious~ -A bit streeeeetch and a yawn. Another day in the gardens has begun. Shinki makes her way into the breakfast nook, almost on auto-pilot, expecting to be fed.

A shame, though. With how drunk she was last night, this may not even be her house...-

[Close enough, really.]

Ah, Alice~

... Is breakfast ready?

... No? I didn't know you wanted me to make any... [And for all Alice knows, it could be the afternnon, and then everything would just be silly.]

But if we don't eat breakfast, how will we know it's morning?

A... clock? [And now all Alice can think about is trying to figure out the time]

Silly girl, who needs clocks when you can eat? Now let's make breakfast!

[Well, far be it from Yumeko to challenge her unthinking expectation of food. There is, indeed, a plate set in front of her the moment she finds the table.]

[Which is, perhaps, why she doesn't point out that Shinki is...less than prompt today.]

Oh my head feels a bit swollen, but otherwise I'm fine. What's on the menu for today, hmm?

It's nothing of particular note. I apologize if it's not quite to your taste, as I was trying to experiment with some of the unfamiliar foods found in this place...

[But... Hm... She hesitates before speaking again.]

Are you sure that's all? [...] Perhaps you shouldn't drink so liberally.

[What if some strange person takes advantage of you, Shinki-sama!!]

Yumeko, I'm perfectly capable of deciding when I've had enough. You needn't worry so much. This is a peaceful place, even compared to Makai.

-She chuckled a bit, taking a bite of what appeared to be poached eggs...-

[ There Yuuka was sitting, buttering some toast to go along with her coffee. She is paying no mind to whomever it was that took the seat across from her as she, too, has one hell of a hangover at the moment. Even the sound of the knife scraping the hard surface of the break is enough to set her to grinding her teeth.

The palace requires a realm fitting of it. I figured a cottage fit the setting better. Regardless, there's certainly no place for you in it.
