Of course. Anything else would be disrespect.

[Which is, perhaps, why she doesn't point out that Shinki is...less than prompt today.]

Oh my head feels a bit swollen, but otherwise I'm fine. What's on the menu for today, hmm?

[swordthrowing]

It's nothing of particular note. I apologize if it's not quite to your taste, as I was trying to experiment with some of the unfamiliar foods found in this place...

[But... Hm... She hesitates before speaking again.]

Are you sure that's all? [...] Perhaps you shouldn't drink so liberally.

[What if some strange person takes advantage of you, Shinki-sama!!]

Yumeko, I'm perfectly capable of deciding when I've had enough. You needn't worry so much. This is a peaceful place, even compared to Makai.

-She chuckled a bit, taking a bite of what appeared to be poached eggs...-

I know you're...capable, but... It's not really your behavior I'm concerned with. There are so many strange people in this place. I don't know how much they can be trusted.

[Also, you know, she apparently hasn't gotten over her distrust of non-Makai residents, but honestly it's unlikely she would fret all that much less even if that weren't the case.]

Oh please, how bad can it be in a place like this? Besides, while I lack my creation powers, I still have my magic. Please, don't trouble yourself worrying. You'll get wrinkles on that pretty face of yours.

[swordthrowing]

Well, considering that the "Queen" that runs this place doesn't seem to have the best of judgment... [She trails off and makes a face.] My "pretty face" is not important. If my worrying pays off but once, any wrinkles I have will be more than compensated for.

Hmm... No, I think I definitely prefer you sans wrinkles. -Wow, Shinki. Wow.-

H... Hmph. A maid's appearance isn't important so long as she can do her duties well.

[She seems a little flustered, though.]

I disagree. I think a maid's appearance reflects the household she serves.

[swordthrowing]

Then I'd be of no use to you with a couple of crow's feet?

No. Then I'd use my power to restore the youth to your features.

But I'd rather not have to, if I can avoid it.

...Hmph. In that case, if you don't give me reason to worry, I'll be sure not to mar my pretty features. I believe that's fair.

Alright, alright. I'll concede.

-And just like that, her plate was empty.-

Well. I feel like taking a walk. Will you be joining me? The dishes can wait, after all.

[swordthrowing]

[She would say that the dishes won't take long at all and she might as well just clean them up before they go, but ultimately, for as much as she frets it is a rare occasion indeed that she actually denies Shinki anything.]

Hmm... How about the library!

[swordthrowing]

Hm... If that is what you wish.

[She's not really sure how to feel about the library, to be honest. She does have an appreciation for some of the poetry, but she wishes the selection was a little more broad.]

-Shinki mostly just loves reading books that didn't originate in her own realm. The extensive library at her palace was full of such works, after all. So who knows, perhaps she'd come across some literary treasure~-
