In celebration of Queen of Heart's 2nd birthday, let's have a

[ Suddenly there's a large table with seats all around, decorated with cakes, tea, and other treats. Some might be perfectly normal, some might not. There's balloons floating around, some saying It's a girl! and Happy two years! and Just kiss already!

Lydia is seated in one of the chairs, a party hat on her head, not quite of her own volition. ]

So. I'm guessing it's a birthday party?

[ Not that Kohran's oblivious to the hustle and bustle of the occasion, but she's testing out an egg-shaped robot with legs and with spoons for arms -- what better time to test her new invention after all? With a plate in hand, she gives the little robot commands as it waddles along the buffet table -- ]

Ms Muffetegg, two lemon tarts please!

[ The little robot follows heading towards the pastry display, though it's not quite adept at avoiding obstacles just yet! It might have just stepped on that quiche/roll/skewer you were reaching for! ]

[This place--incredibly, she remembers it. The ruins, the trees, the buildings, the flowers. As the tall, silver-haired woman walks down the sometimes shifting paths, alert to every sight and sound, she finds more and more memories returning to her: faces, voices, events. The Garden. The Queen.

It all seems so real. It is real, but her logical mind continues to war with what she sees before her, because it's all so improbable.]

Impossible. It was a dream.

[ TODAY IS ANOTHER SAGA OF 'RIN DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO WORK THE VINE'

Congratulations, you get a lovely view of Tohsaka-grade zettai ryouiki before the picture itself just flips over. And then becomes monochrome.

Is it possible to fuck up a piece of garden-technology this much? Probably not. It's most likely the Vine is actually screwing with her to make her angry. ]

G...uh...

[ You know what would be interesting? A bunch of birds and rabbits frolicking over a completely deadpan girl who's really more interested in trying to read a book she seems to have picked out from the library. AN INTERESTING SIGHT, REALLY. If you look closely, she does appear mildly irritated, though... ]

[ Suddenly a pair of arms spring forth from behind you, and pull you into a big, giant hug. Oh no, who could possibly be behind -

Oh it's just Seiko. ]

[Simply glorious to be back. Taking tea and sweets in the beauty of the Gardens, surrounded by flowers she loved...she sighed happily, dramatically, as she always did.]

I could kiss anyone right now.

[There's a robot in the Gardens, standing among the flowers, smiling. When she senses someone's approach, she turns at once, her smile brightening, along with the faint glow of her hair.]

Good afternoon. It's a beautiful day, isn't it?

[she's pulled her cloak on hastily over her new white dress, trembling a little. She doesn't know how long it was, all she remembers is darkness. But she's safe now.]

[in fact, it's almost a relief. Her greatest fear, and it's over and done with. The Queen took her back. It didn't last forever.]

[things are a little different now, so she searches out the Clock Tower first, knowing her way home from there. She walks quickly, but stumbles every now and then, still a bit wobbly on her feet. But there's someone she needs to see.]

[there's a girl in a red dress, looking around curiously. She doesn't seem frightened, or upset--in fact, she's perfectly calm, leaning over a strand of the Vine and patting it as if they're old friends. Then she moves on, looking for a familiar building--but when she finds the right clearing, it's not there. The apartments Gabrielle built are gone.]

[she puts her hands on her hips for a moment, frowning.]

Now, that's strange. Just how long was I gone?

[Misaya hates cats. The rabbits are aggravating and she wouldn't hesitate to make them into dog food if she had anything to feed them to. And snakes for doctors? Ugh. What a ridiculous, pointlessly twee place this is.]

[But more than she dislikes the animals here, she misses her cute (horrible) familiars. The closest she can come to seeing her hounds is visiting the dogs in the Pagoda, so when she thinks no one is looking, she visits. Seated on the front steps, she rubs one of the chows behind its ears.]

[WELP this may not be the most dangerous situation she's ever been in, but man, it might just take the cake for being the weirdest one. Time travel? Whatever. Aliens? Been there, done that.]

[A different dimension, where everyone lives in a garden and makes things out of dirt? That's a new one.]

[But hey, it's pretty here, and it sure is a nice change from things trying to kill her all the time. Jo will be in the Viridian Pavilion if anyone needs her, enjoying the scenery.]

[It had bee a long time since Tsukasa had been in the Garden, just being here brought back memories both happy and incredibly sad. It was a world far removed from her own that she honestly had wished to never see again.

Walking a tree-lined path, the newly-minted Queen of Bel sighs wistfully at the mid-day sun rising overhead. On her shoulder rests her mischievous fairy.]

[A girl with bright pink hair stares into the vine with a silly look on her face. For a few seconds she fiddles with it until it is just far enough from her to take in her entire face.]

Ok... I think I got this. This is a garden fulla magic lesbians and ruled by some lady who wants us all to make out with each other because....Reasons.

Am I right? Cuz if so, this sucks.

[By now, Felicia is so sick of sitting around here doing nothing while her world is probably continuing to crumble into the endless abyss at the edges of the world. So now she's at the Colosseum, sparing with her djinn Echo and practicing psynergy because what else does she have to do.]

[Interrupt her or join in or something. :l]

[The Queen has decided to throw yet another one of her fancy balls. An elegant sort of affair, where the point is to wear something much nicer than one's day-to-day outfits. A party wholly dedicated to pulling out all the stops in dressing to impress, to look as stylish as possible. Frankly, Wriggle could care less about that kind of stuff....but today, she doesn't seem to have a choice.]

I don't wanna wear a dress! I don't wanna, an' you can't make me!

[She's making quite a fuss. But who wouldn't be, if they were being dragged across the ground by a flock of very determined birds? Perhaps not at a whirlwind pace - the birds are no stronger than ordinary ones, after all, and Wriggle does have some weight to her - but certainly a steady one as the feathered assaulters do their level best to yank off the young youkai's pants. They've already made off with her cape!]

Lemme go-!!

[Quietly wandering around the gardens trying to keep out of sight is a girl with long violet hair. She looks positively frightened, her gaze darting around like that of a frightened animal.

Her most defining feature though, is the burn scars that cover the right side of her face, shoulder, and arm.]

[The video flips on to a view of a woman with mad hair and a tattered dress staring into it from a little too close. She also seems to be responding to something that nobody said.]

'Weird'? Well, I never!

[ooc: Okay so Sexy here is a bit odd. She's the living consciousness of a time machine, shoved into a human body and mind. As a result, she's a bit...temporally unhinged, finding it difficult to discern the present from the past and future. Well, from her perspective there isn't actually much of a difference. The point is, she often refers to or responds to things that haven't yet been said or occurred. This presents an obvious challenge for RPing. The way I intend to deal with it is to make pronouncements about the future either vague, or make specific only with communication with other players. The good news, though, is that she sees her entire timeline, so anything said that doesn't make immediate sense can be handwaved as part of something that occurs in the future.]
